As we enjoy our 29th year of business in the South Carolina lowcountry, we reflect back to the small company that began at the South Beach Marina, as a windsurfing school, in 1979. Since then, Outside Hilton Head has grown to meet the outdoor needs of the community, residents and visitors alike.

2008 brings a lot of evidence of our most recent growth. Our core values have been re-stated: Safety, passion, excellence, teamwork, and sustainability. We have opened a new and comprehensive activity center in Shelter Cove Marina. There, you can kayak from a custom designed floating kayak center, boat either on your own or with a captain in our fleet of powerboats, ski, or head out to explore, camp and more. Our O CAT fishing machine is hunting for the best local fish daily, and our kayak fishing program is an industry leader. For kids and families we also have lots of new adventures.

Most importantly Outside Hilton Head is made up of the most personable, experienced, and knowledgeable staff of outdoor guides you will find anywhere.
