We are tremendously proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2009. Since our humble beginnings as a windsurfing school in 1979, Outside Hilton Head has grown to become the lowcountry's premiere outdoor outfitter. In addition to providing a multitude of excellent programs 365 days of the year, Outside Hilton Head has a well established retail shop loaded with everything you need for your adventure. For island residents and visitors, Outside Hilton Head is the #1 resource for enjoying the nature, culture and history of the lowcountry.

Our programs include guided Kayak Tours, Kayak Fishing, boat based Dolphin Tours, Charter Fishing, Boat Charters and Rentals, tours of historic Daufuskie Island, Teambuilding and GPS Scavenger Hunts. Our personalized 'Families' and 'Groups' programs are top-notch. We have an awesome outdoor facility on our own, private, Page Island that includes low and high rope challenge courses and camping.

Outside Hilton Head's flagship store is located mid-island on Highway 278 (between mile markers 7 and 8) in the Plaza at Shelter Cove. You'll find an outstanding selection of clothing, gear and other goodies for most any outdoor activity.

The staff at Outside Hilton Head is made up of experienced, knowledgeable and personable retail associates, reservationists, interpretive naturalist/historian guides and USCG licensed Captains. While our specialties may vary, we do have a few things in common - a great love of the outdoors, a passion for discovery, and desire to share our special place with you.
